Star trail in Kandersteg

I finally understand why people love photographing star trails. It’s not only about the image. It’s about standing beneath the night sky, patiently watching the stars and the Milky Way, with the cold wind against your skin and insects humming in the dark. The waiting itself is an exquisite kind of joy—made even more unforgettable by the two shooting stars that crossed the sky. Later, I worried that the drifting clouds might ruin the photograph. Instead, they made it more beautiful. The star trails became broken and wavering, like moonlight scattered across the restless surface of a lake—distorted, shimmering, and full of tiny points of light.
